Kielder Caravan & Camping Site welcomes touring tents, caravans and motor caravans to its beautiful 75 pitch site. The site also has 4 pods and 2 static caravans for hire.

The campsite has been awarded 3 stars by Visit Britain, and makes an ideal base for families.

A picturesque riverside camp site run by the local community since March 2004, Kielder campsite is a peaceful and friendly site with clean and tidy basic facilities. Fresh water supplied straight off the hill is cool and plentiful.

A small on-site shop provides basic grocery needs. There are laundry and washing-up facilities adjacent to a central Shower Block, and a small Play Area for the children.

Kielder - Englandís most remote village - is located just 3 miles from the Scottish border, in the heart of Britainís largest forest. A remote retreat in stunning surroundings, with numerous walks and cycle trails, Kielder offers an escape from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.

Learn about the forest at Kielder Castle Visitor Centre,
understand the turbulent history of the Border Reivers.
Launch your own craft or hire a sail boat or canoe on Kielder Water.
Fish the lake, its bank or on the rivers.
Spot some of Kielderís more elusive birds or animals - red squirrels, deer & foxes.

The local public house The Angler's Arms is a short walk away through the campsite.

The village shop and post office is only a ten minute walk away in the village.
There is a bike hire business The Bike Place in Kielder with spares and repairs service
and a licensed tea rooms at Kielder Castle.
Castle and Tea room are now OPEN after refurbishments.

From A1 Newcastle, take A69 to Hexham.

After the Hexham roundabout take A6079 North to Wall and Bellingham.

After Wall turn Left on B6318 at Brunton.

At Chollerford take B6320 to Bellingham.

After crossing the River Tyne at Bellingham turn Left onto C200 for Lanehead,turn Left for Kielder.

Continue past Kielder Water to Kielder Village.

Drive through edge of village past the Station Garage on your Left.

Kielder Campsite is clearly signed on your Right after 500 yards.
